The Signalman is a telemetry
device used to relay the transmissions from
either the Watchman or Ultiman tank transmitter
back to a computer at the the supplier. The
Signalman plugs in to share an existing
telephone line. It is
instructed when and how often to call and which
tanks to listen to by the computer that it
calls.

The FullStop overfill alarm
operates in conjunction with Sensor Systems’
Watchman and Ultiman wireless tank level gauges.
The FullStop is activated by a simple, onebutton
action when it is within 50 mm (2 inches) of the
tank transmitter. It then indicates to the
driver, visually and audibly, the fluid level
inside the storage tank. This confirms to the
delivery driver that there is room to start the
filling operation and allows the fill to be
monitored so that the tank can be filled to the
maximum safe level. Sensor Systems tank
transmitters and probes are calibrated so that
the FullStop gives an early warning to the
delivery driver when the tank is nearly full at
90%. It then advises when the tank is full at
95% of its physical capacity – leaving 5% of
space above the fluid to allow for safe
expansion through heat. The FullStop has an
operating range of up to 400 metres, allowing
the driver to remain mobile during the filling
operation.
Deliveries made into tanks equipped with the
SpillStop ensure that the environment is
protected if an attempt is made to overfill the
tank. This cleverly designed valve shuts off the
fill point once oil reaches 95% of the tank
volume.
